By downloading, installing, or using Elara, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Elara is a meditation and mindfulness app that provides:

Relaxation environments and escape rooms
Social features for meditating with friends
Progress tracking and achievements

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate information
Keep your login credentials secure
Be responsible for all activity under your account
Notify us of any unauthorized use

4. Premium Subscriptions

Elara offers optional premium subscriptions with additional features:

Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
No refunds for partial subscription periods

5. User Conduct

When using Elara, especially social features, you agree not to:

Harass, bully, or harm other users
Post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
Impersonate others or create fake accounts
Attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the service
Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
Violate any applicable laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content in Elara, including meditations, audio, images, and designs, is owned by Elara or its licensors. You may not:

Copy, distribute, or reproduce our content
Use our content for commercial purposes
Remove any copyright or trademark notices

Your personal data and content you create remain yours, subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Elara is a general wellness and relaxation app. It is NOT a medical device, therapeutic tool, or healthcare service. The content provided in this app, including but not limited to meditation guides, wellness suggestions, AI companion conversations, and wellness challenges:

Is for general informational and entertainment purposes only
Is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
Is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Has NOT been evaluated by the FDA or any regulatory body
Should NOT be used as a basis for making health-related decisions

The AI wellness companion feature provides general conversational support and is not a licensed therapist, counselor, psychologist, or medical professional. Its responses should not be considered professional advice.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Elara after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

You may stop using Elara at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
